Wetland Ecology and Management


 

Credit hours: 5                                     Time: Tuesday, Thursdays 8:00 to 10:00 AM
Prerequisite:  rigorous course in ecology or limnology; general chemistry and biology

Course Design: Hydrology, soil, biogeochemical, biological and ecological aspects of wetlands. Emphasis on wetland and riverine ecosystems found in North America. Course includes valuation of wetlands and role of wetlands in climate change. New wetland field labs this year.
