Ohio State has contracted with the Olentangy River Wetland Research Park to design an outdoor aquatic laboratory on the Ohio State Marion campus for students and classes that will provide opportunities for research, education and recreation. The project also will improve water quality in Grave Creek, provide flood storage potential, and create an ecologically sound, economically efficient, and aesthetically pleasing stream course and potential mitigation income for Ohio State Marion. The project involves the School of Environment and Natural Resources’ William Mitsch, Li Zhang and Juang-Chen Huang, and subcontractors from Civil and Environmental Consultants, Inc.
